Overview
Jon Anik is an American commentator born on July 3, 1978 in Boston. Before the UFC, he hosted MMA Live on ESPN2. He joined the UFC as a commentator in 2011, and in 2017 he became the lead voice of the promotion's pay-per-views, taking over after Mike Goldberg, who held the role before him. His time on MMA Live got him used to presenting MMA news to a broad audience before he moved to live commentary.
Since April 2015, he has co-hosted the Anik & Florian Podcast with Kenny Florian, a former UFC fighter. In 2026 he was named Commentator of the Year at the World MMA Awards. His UFC commentary now airs on Paramount+, the promotion's broadcast home in the United States.
