Piotr Kuberski has established himself as one of KSW’s most dangerous middleweights through a run of knockouts that carried him to the division’s interim title. The Pole from Oborniki holds a professional record of 18 wins against a single loss.
Born October 24, 1988 in Oborniki, in western Poland, Piotr Kuberski trains with the Ankos MMA club based in Poznań, where he built the bulk of his striking game. He had his first professional fight in November 2012, at Gala Sportów Walki 3, winning by TKO over Piotr Judek. His career then went through a long break, not returning to the ring until six years later, in April 2018, to face Nikolay Moskalets at Slugfest 14. He then strung together stoppage wins until his first professional loss, by submission to Jakub Kamieniarz in February 2019 at X Fight Series: Poznań Fight Night 3. Kuberski bounced back and fought often on the Polish circuit, notably with Fight Exclusive Night and Slugfest, before claiming the Fight Exclusive Network middleweight title in June 2022 against Marcin Naruszczka. He defended that belt twice before leaving it vacant in September 2023, when his contract with the organization expired.
Kuberski joined KSW in November 2023 and immediately faced Bartosz Leśko, beating him by KO in the second round of KSW 88. He kept up the momentum against Michał Materla, stopped by TKO in the first round of KSW 92 in March 2024, then against Damian Janikowski, stopped in under a minute at KSW 100 in November 2024. In March 2025, he claimed the KSW interim middleweight title by beating Tomasz Romanowski by TKO in the third round of KSW 104. He then defended that belt against Radosław Paczuski, stopped by a head kick in the third round of KSW 109 in August 2025, and against Michał Michalski, beaten by TKO in the first round of KSW 118 in May 2026, his most recent fight. KSW has long featured another notable Polish champion in the middle divisions, Mamed Khalidov, whose career has spanned several generations of the promotion.
Piotr Kuberski is first and foremost a striker: sixteen of his eighteen professional wins have come by KO or TKO, most often after a flurry of punches launched in the opening exchanges. At 6’3″ (191 cm) and 185 lbs (84 kg), he is able to keep his distance and land clean shots on opponents who are often smaller. Like fellow Pole Jan Błachowicz at the UFC, he builds his style around boxing rather than wrestling or ground work, which he has only used to secure two judges’ decisions. His only professional loss, conceded by submission, points to room for improvement in his grappling.
