Choosing the right cage or ring
Floor, podium or competition
A floor MMA cage is the easiest to install: it sits on the gym floor, with its own mats or on your existing tatami for the portable models. It is the pick for clubs training every day under a standard ceiling. A podium cage raises the fighting area by 1 to 3.3 ft and looks like a fight night, provided the ceiling is high enough. Competition cages add a catwalk around the fence for the referee, coaches and cameras.
Heavy or light mesh
Pro versions use heavy mesh (3.8 mm wire, about 6 mm once coated) and a frame with 89 mm round uprights. Sparring versions switch to 2.4 mm wire and a 5 cm square tube: cheaper, fine for classes, less suited to heavy daily use by big fighters.
Standards and formats
To host an affiliated amateur competition, the three IMMAF models follow the international federation's technical regulations. For the major-league professional format, the 30 ft Pro octagon uses standard UFC dimensions: 30 ft fighting area and a 4 ft podium.
Boxing ring or MMA ring
A floor boxing ring goes up without drilling thanks to its steel frame. On a podium it becomes a competition ring, up to the Olympic 20 x 20 ft. The MMA ring adds a fifth row of ropes and netting under the bottom rope for promotions that fight in a ring.

How much does an MMA cage cost?
In this range, a portable octagon without flooring starts at €2,333 excl. VAT, a complete floor octagon at €2,867 in 13 ft (4 m), a podium cage at €4,609. Competition cages with a catwalk run from €11,815 to €34,955 depending on size and podium height.
Does the price include delivery?
No. Prices are manufacturer prices excluding VAT, delivery and installation. Delivery to your city (DAP, CIF or FOB) is quoted in the firm offer after the technical call.
Floor cage or podium cage?
A floor cage sits directly on the gym floor and suits low ceilings and daily training. A podium cage is raised 1 to 4 ft (0.3 to 1.2 m): it needs more ceiling height and is used for fight nights and competitions.
What cage size should I choose?
Size is measured across the fighting area. Small cages (13 to 16 ft) suit classes and sparring, 20 to 26 ft suits clubs training fighters, 30 ft and up is the professional promotion format. Add the catwalk on competition cages.
Can we print our club logo?
Yes. On cages: the octagon floor and the side and top cushions. On rings: the canvas, corner pads and podium skirts. Any colour is available.
Are there IMMAF-standard cages?
Yes, three models: the IMMAF floor octagon, the IMMAF competition octagon and the IMMAF round arena, built to IMMAF technical regulations according to the manufacturer.
