OKTAGON 97 Fight Card, Start Time and How to Watch

Igor Severino puts his bantamweight title on the line against unbeaten German prospect Max Holzer in the main event of OKTAGON 97, on November 7 in Hanover. Eight fights are confirmed for the card.

This marks the third time the Czech-based promotion has run a show in Hanover, part of a steady build of its fan base in Germany across its 2025 and 2026 schedule.

Date, venue and start times

The event takes place at the ZAG Arena in Hanover, Germany, on Saturday, November 7, 2026. OKTAGON only publishes a single start time for the whole card, with the main event, last on the bill, starting significantly later.

Based on the event’s own estimated running order, the Severino-Holzer title fight is expected to start around 9:00 PM local time in Hanover, close to 3:00 PM US Eastern.

How to Watch

OKTAGON streams the full card worldwide, including in the United States, as a pay-per-view on OKTAGON.TV. In Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg, the card also airs on RTL+. No US cable or streaming partner has been confirmed for this card beyond OKTAGON.TV, and no French free-to-air broadcaster carries OKTAGON cards at this time.

Main card

Igor Severino (10-1), a Brazilian submission specialist, defends his bantamweight title against unbeaten German Max Holzer (12-0), built up by the promotion as the hometown attraction of the night. The fight is scheduled for five rounds. Holzer, 24, has gone 12-0 since turning professional.

The rest of the main card pairs Germans Gjoni Palokaj, ranked No. 4 at featherweight, and Zafar Mohsen, ranked No. 3; Turkey’s Ozan Aslaner against Ireland’s Denis Frimpong at a 159-pound catchweight; and Slovakia’s Karol Ryšavý, an OKTAGON Challenge champion, against Sweden’s Samuel Bark, a Muay Thai champion in his home country.

  • Igor Severino vs Max Holzer, bantamweight, title fight
  • Gjoni Palokaj vs Zafar Mohsen, featherweight
  • Ozan Aslaner vs Denis Frimpong, catchweight (159 lbs / 72 kg)
  • Karol Ryšavý vs Samuel Bark, featherweight

Prelims

  • Jan Holzer vs Ján Švagerko, welterweight
  • Daniel Makin vs Petr Bartoněk, welterweight
  • Haci Akseker vs Jonatan Kujawa, featherweight
  • Justin Detzel vs Kacper Frątczak, middleweight

What is at Stake

Severino is defending his title against an unbeaten challenger fighting in front of his home crowd, a matchup OKTAGON has built its recent German cards around: an established champion against a hometown prospect. A loss would be a real setback for Holzer, long presented as one of Germany’s top bantamweight hopes, while a win would make him the promotion’s new bantamweight champion.

Further down the card, the clash between unbeaten prospects Justin Detzel and Kacper Frątczak opens the night as one of its least predictable fights. At featherweight, Gjoni Palokaj and Zafar Mohsen meet in a ranked matchup, No. 4 against No. 3, a result that could factor into the division’s title picture.

No fighters from France, Belgium or Switzerland are announced on this card, so interest from French-speaking Europe centers mainly on the pay-per-view broadcast and the bantamweight title itself. OKTAGON has leaned heavily on German-market cards through 2026, and a clean win for Holzer in front of his home fans would hand the promotion a new domestic champion to build around for its next trip to the country.
