Nik Bagley is an English mixed martial artist competing at featherweight, where he has held the Cage Warriors title since February 2026. Born in Ukraine and trained at Great Britain Top Team in London, he built his record on offensive wrestling finished on the ground with the rear-naked choke.
Nikita Bagley was born on February 13, 1997, in Ukraine before moving to England, where he now competes for the country. He began in amateur MMA, where he won the LFC and FCS bantamweight titles. It was during this period that he faced Lone’er Kavanagh, who has since turned professional at the UFC. Bagley then joined Great Britain Top Team, the London club run by former UFC and WEC fighter Brad Pickett, training alongside other fighters developed at the gym, including English featherweight Nathaniel Wood. He turned professional and built his record on the British circuit before joining Cage Warriors, the organization that has shaped most of his career.
Bagley suffered his only professional loss in 2022, a disputed decision against Ben Ellis. He then put together a string of rear-naked choke wins, including one over Jordy Bakkes, taken down in the first round and submitted after being dominated on the ground. He also beat Keweny Lopes, a former featherweight title contender, controlling him for three rounds with aggressive wrestling and ground and pound. That run made him the number-one featherweight title contender at Cage Warriors, a title then held by Solomon Simon.
On February 21, 2026, at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin, Bagley faced Simon for the belt at Cage Warriors 200. He controlled the fight with takedowns and cage pressure through rounds two to four, then hurt Simon with a right hook in the fifth round before taking his back in search of a choke. All three judges scored it for Bagley by unanimous decision, 50-45, 50-45 and 49-46, making him Cage Warriors featherweight champion. He defended the title on June 27, 2026, at the Indigo at The O2 in London, at Cage Warriors 208, against Bellator veteran Aiden Lee. Bagley landed several strikes, including a jumping head kick, then took him down in the third round before submitting him with a rear-naked choke at 3 minutes 18 seconds. A second defense is scheduled for November 14, 2026, in London, at Cage Warriors 213, against Brazil’s Bruno Souza.
Bagley builds his fights around offensive wrestling. He consistently looks for the takedown, applies constant cage pressure and works toward his opponent’s back to lock in a rear-naked choke, his most frequent finish. He adds ground and pound to wear down opponents ahead of the submission, and has also shown he can land on the feet, as he did against Aiden Lee with a jumping head kick.
