The UFC returns to the Apex in Las Vegas on October 10, 2026, for a card headlined by two middleweights in form. American Brendan Allen, ranked No. 4, meets England’s Christian Leroy Duncan, unbeaten since 2024 and headlining for the first time in his career.
A ranked clash atop the middleweight division
The UFC confirmed the five round middleweight main event for its October 10 card at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brendan Allen, the division’s No. 4 contender, defends his spot against Christian Leroy Duncan, ranked No. 10 to No. 11 depending on the list, who headlines a UFC card for the first time. The stakes are straightforward for both men: a win pushes the winner closer to a top five opponent, and potentially a path toward title contention down the line.
The card streams on Paramount+ and follows the now familiar Apex format, without a ticketed crowd but typically with a technically dense lineup.
Brendan Allen looks to keep climbing after two setbacks
The 30 year old Allen won seven straight fights starting in 2022 before back to back losses to Nassourdine Imavov and Anthony Hernandez. The American has since bounced back with two notable wins, over Marvin Vettori and then Edmen Shahbazyan, both bouts earning Fight of the Night honors. That stretches his current streak to three straight victories.
A third consecutive win would put Allen back in position to call for a top ranked opponent, in a division where the hierarchy behind the champion remains unsettled.
Both of Allen’s losses came against fighters who have since settled near the top of the division, which limits how much weight fans put on them when judging his current form. Coming back with two bonus-earning wins has rebuilt his standing with both fans and UFC matchmakers heading into this fight.
Christian Leroy Duncan, unbeaten since 2024 and headlining for the first time
A former Cage Warriors middleweight champion, Christian Leroy Duncan carries a professional record of 14 wins and 2 losses, with 10 of those victories coming by knockout. Since his last loss in 2024 to Gregory Rodrigues, the Englishman has reeled off five straight wins, including two Performance of the Night knockouts over Eryk Anders and Marco Tulio, a unanimous decision over Roman Dolidze, and a win over Jared Cannonier this past summer.
That five fight streak has now earned him his first headlining assignment, a test of legitimacy for a fighter who has never before had the chance to perform under the main event lights. With 10 of his 14 career wins coming by knockout, Duncan brings real finishing power into the striking exchanges, the same area where Allen has built much of his own reputation.
A deep main card around the title fight
The rest of the main card features several closely watched matchups. In the women’s strawweight division, Mexico’s Loopy Godinez, ranked in the top 10, takes on Brazil’s Ketlen Souza. At lightweight, Brazil’s Matheus Camilo meets England’s Jai Herbert, while Andre Fili squares off with Kai Kamaka III at featherweight and Julius Walker meets Gerald Meerschaert at light heavyweight.
The preliminary card includes Americans Andre Fili and Niko Price, along with Brazil’s Felipe Franco, familiar names rounding out a lineup built to hold attention across the full night of fights.
Apex cards lack the arena atmosphere of a pay-per-view, but they carry the same sporting weight for the middleweight division, and fights like this one regularly decide who gets the call for a ranked opponent next.

Preliminary bouts begin at 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. PT) on October 10, with the main card following at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT, 6 p.m. MT, 7 p.m. CT). For fans in the United Kingdom, the main card starts at 1 a.m. BST on October 11, with Central European viewers tuning in at 2 a.m. CEST the same morning.
