He beat Édgar Cháirez at UFC 306 and Cody Durden at UFC 310 in 2024, then outpointed Brandon Royval at UFC 317 on June 28, 2025, in a Fight of the Night that set the record for significant strikes in a three-round flyweight bout. At UFC 323 on December 6, 2025, he won the title when Alexandre Pantoja was stopped 26 seconds in with an arm injury from a fall. He stopped Tatsuro Taira in the fifth round at UFC 328 on May 9, 2026, and beat Pantoja by unanimous decision in their rematch at UFC 331 on September 19, 2026.
