Léopold Goi is Hexagone MMA’s new flyweight champion. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Zénith Paris La Villette, he stopped Samba Sima at 4:49 of the fourth round to claim the vacant 125-pound (57 kg) title. In the co-main event, Paul Dena beat Bilal Labid by unanimous decision, four months after his knockout loss in Lyon.
Pushed back from September 18 to October 24, the promotion’s 48th numbered event featured ten bouts on its final card, five on the main card and five on the prelims. MMA Official, invited by Hexagone MMA, covered fight week from the October 23 press conference in Bagnolet through the weigh-ins.
Léopold Goi Takes the Title in Round Four
Samba Sima came in unbeaten, with all four of his pro wins coming inside the distance. Léopold Goi, nicknamed Leonidas, was 8-3. He had already fought for this title in February and lost it when Romero Dos Reis knocked him out in seven seconds.
According to RMC Sport’s account as relayed by PenseBet, Sima won the first round with punch combinations, a kick, ground strikes and a knee. Goi took the fight to the mat from the second round on and came close to finishing a choke. La Sueur reports two knockdowns in the third round, first Goi dropping Sima, then Sima dropping Goi with two minutes left in the frame. In the fourth, Goi landed punches and elbows on the ground until the referee stepped in.
Goi moves to 9-3. Sima, 23, suffers the first loss of his pro career and falls to 4-1. Our Hexagone MMA 48 preview covered both fighters’ paths ahead of the event.
Paul Dena Earns His First Decision Win
Paul Dena was back in the cage for the first time since June 12, when Anzor Baybatyrov knocked him out in the first round in Lyon. Against Morocco’s Bilal Labid at bantamweight, 135 pounds (61 kg), he went the full three five-minute rounds and won on all three judges’ scorecards. RMC Sport, the event’s broadcaster in France, called it a close fight.
All three of Dena’s previous pro wins came inside the distance, making Saturday’s result his first decision win. He improves to 4-1. Labid, who also entered at 3-1, drops to 3-2.
Prigent Submits Diallo, Hue Beats Manzo, One No Contest
Arnaud Prigent submitted Ibrahim Diallo with a rear-naked choke at 2:22 of the first round at featherweight. At welterweight, Alex Hue beat Pierre Manzo by unanimous decision in Manzo’s promotional debut. The bantamweight bout between Rayan Balbali and Youssouf Ouattara was stopped 59 seconds into the first round and ruled a no contest after punches to the back of the head, according to Sherdog.
The lightweight bout between Turpal Younousov and Mikail Bayram, advertised on the main card, does not appear in the official results listed by Sherdog. MMA Official found no explanation from the promotion at the time of publication.
Three First-Round Finishes on the Prelims

Ousmane Camara stopped Shekina Bilolo in 58 seconds with a head kick and follow-up punches at welterweight. Fabian Glele submitted Jacques Bonga with a rear-naked choke at 2:00 at middleweight. Mahamade Demba Samba beat Dany Gbeassor by TKO at 2:22 in a 150-pound (68 kg) catchweight bout.
